Overseas Trip - JB

YEAH!!! went overseas(self consolation) today.

Going jb nowadays is like going to orchard but with a diff crowd. Since its just across a bridge and less den 30mins trip. Its also quite a routine if u go too often. Theres only a few limited shopping centers(nearby the cozway) and not much place to explore.

The usual routine for me

1. Wan ton mee at a shophouse(taste like the good old times).
2. Jalan in CT square

a. the auntie annes is cheap and definite nicer den sg version.
b.the egg tart at the portugeese house is also another yummy treat.
c. check out the street wear stores for berms.
d. watch a movie, cheap and sound effects not bad.

3. Holiday plaza

a. another place full of street wears.
b. full of pirated stuff even though i dun buy them.

4a. Taman sri tebrau/Daima (close on monday)

a. nice seafood and some snacks.

4b. Go to open market (only available on monday)

a. nice street food and some cheap items.
b. quite a stretch of road like a pasar malam only better.

Today we did most of wat i normally did, nothing much special. For the food part, only the kangkong, stingray n flat lobster(aka crayfish - term named by common ppl which is wrong) is delicious. Even though the table was filled with food i didnt really eat some of them, like hao jian, zhu chang fen didnt even touch them. The guo tie, lala and cereal prawns wasnt really tasty.

Overall didnt really enjoy todays meal(not filling and ex) and trip to jb.

PS: Its better to travel with ppl whos willing to walk den nagging abt being tired.
