Happy new yr to all the folks tat i know, dun know, or havnt know yet!!!
Ok im not artistic so dun flame me on my lousy creation up there. Thx kate for the birthday teddy (xmas gift).... Too bad i cant find the 1st edition teddy or they would be a happy teddy family -_-||.

TCM...

Mum dated me out today. Went to this free chinese TCM at chin swee rd to check up on my nose. They prescribed some chinese herbs and mum got another 3 packets from some outside chinese herb shop.

After tat went window shopping for a new wardrobe. Im targeting one of those with a sliding door and preferably something tat has half with shelves and half for hanging clothes (which is quite hard to find). Went ikea and IMM saw quite a few designs but all not the 1 tat i wanted.

Now im waiting to drink the awful medcine tat my mum's brewing >_<.

fantasy...

Caught A chinese tall story today. Very funny fantasy show with lots of CG. Like watching a chinese game intro with CG.

Before the show had dinner at the new crystal jade express.

Luckily there wasnt any crowd there, other den ppl queueing to get their cheap roast products... Theres a waiting time abt 6-8 mins and after paying for the food had to collect the number tags.

The food comes in a set with soup and veg, though the veg is just simple oyster sauce lettuce but the soup was those double boil 1 (unlike those coffee shop where they give plain soup). Overall i would prefer to pay the extra bucks to eat here den those fast food restaurants.

for 3 consecutive days i had my meal in some restaurant. Mondays was swensens, tuesdays was ramen and today i went to the manhattan fish restaurant.

The menu hasnt change in anyway. No new dishes just the same old menu. Was hoping for more choices.

Jalan a while at PS browsed some books at MPH and happen to chance upon this book.

Comprehensive...

Today is a big day for me. Having my comprehensive exam (the last cooking thingy i will ever do at shatec), which is a very important practical exam tat i die die must pass!!!...

As usual got to draw lots on wat meat should i cook. Did so much on lamb chop and neglected on the other meat poducts end up getting salmon. The vegetable selection was very little as well (most probably due to the holidays >_<). And wats worse is tat im the last grp to go in so most of the veg are already taken and used by the time my grp started (even lesser selection >_<)...

Choose to make a snow pea soup (which i think is too thick by the time its being tested >_<)

And Pan-fried salmon with orange hollandaise and potato rossti (which isnt fully cooked) ...




Rushed to City Hall 4 dinner. Totally no idea where to eat and walk aimlessly to this newly open jap restaurant.




Ordered some ramen (soup too salty) and they come with some upsize which i choosed a charwanmushi, a jap 湯圓 in red bean and lemonade. Total cost abt 18+ with gst and every other %%% thing tats required...

Met up for dinner with Kate and YB at Swensens. Arrived slightly earlier so went kino to do some research for my comprehensive exam tomorrow. Saw this book tat newspaper recommended.


The Cook's Book
Quite a good book, teaches all the basic cooking techniques and even have pictures for every step by step guide. Browsed quite a few books till finally they arrived. Was a bit paiseh when they handed me presents -_-|| didnt expect to receive any presents from any1 (havnt receive any for yrs).

hospital...

Mum admitted herself to hospital due to high fever 39.6deg (so high >_<) today. Fortunately by the time i rush there the fever has already dropped. But doctor advise her to stay over for monitoring. Should be out either tom/day after.

Havnt been to SGH for quite sometime. Theres even a SGH museum now. Todays xmas but seems like all other sundays tat i had -_-||... BORING!!!!

Caught narnia yesterday watching the midnite show (havnt done tat for ages) and walked to my frens house to stay overnite -_-. The show isnt as bad as the reviews in newspaper put it.

Today, is my last day of free labour!!! Headed home str8 after tat to put all my barangs -_-

After buying the new phone for 2 days, i still havnt start using it -_-. Still waiting for the changing of line (dun wanna bring 2 hp to free labour, so leh cheh). Anyway think most of my frens dun even know my new number (lazy to inform 1 by 1) totally no pt to bring the new phone out also :P. 2 more days till the end of free labour and back to normal school life!!! Cant wait, but will most probably have to sacrifice my xmas eve since free labour will end late and i need to go home and put all my barangs...

L6...

Got my L6 phone today... So slim ... and sleek. But i was a bit wider den wat i expected -_-|| nevertheless... its still nice. Function wise, cant really comment much since i havnt really sit down and play with it. Did something rather stupid, i transfer the phone numbers of my old HP to my new HP 1 by 1. Only to realize tat i can copy the numbers to sim card after i finish everything >_<. Need sometime to get used to the phone and for those who know me have written my new number on my MSN. The old 1 is still in use (number retention), but i doubt it will be displayed on the HP screen when i call u ppl. Do change to the new 1!!!!

Had so much kueh today, due to the high tea function at free labour. Had durian, corn, 9 layers and many many more. So like to eat kueh!!!

Tmr wil be going ps to hunt for the L6 motorola!!! Contract ends today!!!

Didnt expect king kong to be a 3hr show. Watching this movie is like reading the story book. But 3hr to me is a bit too long (certain part of the show is quite boring)...

Was sleeping peacefully till some idiot came banging on my front door (my rm located just next to the front door), when no ppl answer the door, tat bugger came shouting into my window (which i totally ignore)... that idiot happen to be collecting newspaper fee. Its not the 1st time they (newspaper fee collectors) are so rude, always banging like some loan shark... Wats worse is tat they actually lift up my curtain and shout into my rm while i was sleeping so peacefully >_<, really wonder can i sue them for invading my privacy like those superstars....

yes i went missing again for the pass 2 days. Stayed over at my frens place for 2 nites... Was drunk on wed (still didnt know how it happen but it did >_<... drank and drank and den blackout -_-|| embarassing) went gaming on thurs (dota all nite long!!!). Havnt played like this for a long time :P but den the drunk part wasnt really fun so there wont be a next time >_<...

woke up so early today... Fren jio me to go play LAN b4 free labour (couldnt refuse :P). Really havnt wake up so early for gaming for so long -_-||. Had to drag myself all the way to bugis... played a couple hrs of sleepy DOTA and CS >_< at saw how pro my schoolmate was. Had lunch at the vietnam restaurant just outside the CC. Seems nice and affordable. Went free labour after....

internet went down since sunday. Finally bro decide to replace the dying modem with a new 1 (coz he cant stand the days without internet).

Sunday: Went celebrate schoolmate birthday at marina south. He insisted on treating (its like a tradition of his to treat his frens). So end up didnt get to treat him and didnt get him any presents (...still pondering wat to get him).

Monday: Free labour got extended for 2 weeks >_<. Will be working nite shift till xmas eve... Nothing much happen today other den the new cable modem tat bro bought :P

Finally decided on getting the sandals today. After thinking thru a while, the sandals r more worth it since...

I can wear the sandals everyday. I cant wear the t-shirt everyday.

Got a slight discount when purchasing the sandals coz a fren knows the boss. Had to make another diff decision... which color to choose. They have so much variety there >_<. End up choose 1 tats slightly dull gold and white. Didnt wish to get pure black or pure white 1s since i already have them at home.

Its abt time tat i change my old and distorted (drop too many times) T610 to this nice sleek motorola L6. Seems to be just nice for me. Starhub is actually having a promotion for this december so i can actually get it at $88.


But.... im currenly holding a M1 line the contract ends at 19dec. And if i change to starhub i have to get a new simcard $36.75 + line retention abt $10... so total adds up if i get the phone will be $136.75... is it really worth it >_<

Was window shopping abt town today. Saw this pair of havaianas flip flop tat look nice, but the pricing isnt... (abt $39.90 >_< ) . Really pondering should i get it... A t-shirt caught my eye as well and the pricing is also abt the same... If i were to choose 1 of those which would be more worth the money. The flip flop or the t-shirt >_<.

violence...

Just caught history of violence today. Its a nice show but the pace is too slow tat at certain point of the show 1 can really fall asleep. Since its R21 theres violence, gore and sex. A certain sex scene is really redundent....

Had dinner at wisma tat food court ate murtabak this time rd. Wasnt really good, its full of onions and chicken meat tats over marinated with spice (felt like eating spice).

Had dessert at a shop (4get the shop name), had a nice mango thingy with ice-cream, pudding and pulps. Very nice, sweet and thick. Headed home after.

Went catch Aeon Flux today. An ordinary show with no breath taking scenes, a lot of futuristic devices, a babe in tights and a freak with 4 hands...

Seems like 2 bottles and a can of oldenlandia has made my fever go away now i need some other drinks tat can make my running nose go away. Blew my nose so many times till blood came out -_-||... resting and resting, hopefully it will go off by next week.

Gulp down loads of 白花蛇舌草/Oldenlandia water today. Suppose to cool my body down. Seems to be rather useful, always drank tat whenever i feel heaty or having a sorethroat... Gonna stay home and rest till i fully recover b4 doing any more outdoor activities >_<.
