wat-if....

Look into the mirror and saw white hair... yes dreaded white hair pop out of my head. May be the result of thinking too much. Whenever i do something, this thing keep coming out of my head. wat-if...wat-if...wat-if. How i hate this wat-if thing tat keeps popping into my head for everything i do.

Wat-if i do this and they dun like it. Wat-if im actually boring them..? Seems so pessimistic but sometimes cant help it. Need to clear my mind and bcom brainless again.

Sick...*#%$

Of all the time to get sick i have to be sick now... cant even get a MC for my "work" since i will have to make-up some other days. Another bad thing abt getting sick now means i cant go 4 swimming till i recover....

Met up with alvin to pass him his bday present. I made a dark chocolate terrine for him, should be yummy -_-|| didnt really get a chance to try it. Wanted to go swimming but canceled it(sick sick sick) so met up with xiong, dam and boon for another round of spikeout at marina south.

Reach home bathed and now going to sleep, feel so weak a breeze can blow me off...

Billys'...

Time flies by so quickly, been working at billys' for more den 1/2 a yr. So far havnt encounter any problem with any of the staffs there. Every1 is always joking and happy(except during lousy business). Heres a brief intro of my co-workers(nicknames are given to protect their identities)

Matchmaker: my supervisor... whenever got new staff come she will start match making ppl. Matching the waitress to the kitchen's all male team -_-||

Joker: One of my p/t supervisor who can really joke abt anything under any circumstances other den lousy business -_-||

Whiny: A waitress whos voice is always so whiny and irritating.

高妹: A very tall gal. Shes like huang bi ren in one of those series where her accent is funny 1...

食神 aka god of cooking: His really a motivater for me. Everytime trying out recipes while cooking but most of the time will be desert or pastry. A very good guy whos willing to share his exp.

The hairdresser: His story is quite funny. He actually wanted to be a hairdresser(he always cut his own hair, very funky). But the moment he step into the salon, he notice most of the guys are a bit of the feminine side. Changed his mind, walk into billys' instead and has been working for quite sometime.

A new kitchen supervisor came 2 our outlet not sure for wat reason for 1 mth. 1st impression wasnt very good. Seems quite proud but maybe have to give probation period c how 1st...

Will be working again till maybe 2weeks later where my "work" will become nite shift...

Woke up and its raining. Didnt really wanna go "work" such a nice cooling weather. Manage to drag myself out reminding myself tat i cant be late. Unfortunately due to some stupid circumstances, waited bus for a long time and MRT keep stopping middle of no where. I reach "work" late.... Though im marked late, the teacher hinted tat if my conduct is good and im punctual 4 the rest of the week, he will change it(phew!!!).

After "work", walk to the new national library with caleb. This place is so big but the selections of book seems so little. Maybe its the fact tat theres too many racks... 1 rack abt 10 books only. Stayed a while browsing some cook books. Left after a while, only visited B1 today will be back to visit the other lvs.

Walk to PS to get a drink at mos(caleb left) and proceeded to far east for a haircut. Went to a diff salon but got the same haircut.... destine to get this haircut.. i miss my old hairdresser...

Walk over to lucky plaza the get my specs fixed. Hope the owner wont be annoyed tat i always get them to tighten my specs. Tried some while plastic specs seems weird... maybe im not used to getting a pair of plastic frames after using rimless for so long.

Browsed some mags and comics at kino. Wanted to meet mum for dinner but shes not ard so had to settle it alone -_-||. Ate yong tau fu, chose all the plain food like toufu, fishballs and veg, doctor advise me to eat less heaty >_<. 6 items coz $3.60 so costly...

Went marina south to meet up with xiong, boon and dam for spikeout. Left after 2 games. On our way out(boon's driving a van) kanna stop at roadblk. The worse thing is im the "cargo". Luckily didnt get him into trouble since the police didnt check -_-||.

Got home after a while bathe and now waiting for hair to dry b4 sleeping.

Been a unlucky day. So unlucky tat i can even joke abt it at work with my colleague.

1.Cut my hand while sharpening knife

3.Metal inset(tray) fell and hit my head and wrist

Dunno why im so "lucky" today. Even my specs is dying. Planning to get a haircut and maybe geta new pair of plastic specs. Wondering if white looks weird on me, any suggestions?

Aching everywhere inside outside. Yesterday wasnt a good day and so is today. Stayed at home all day today. No where to go nothing to do. Tired from yesterdays exercise. Tomorrows coming and i gotta wake up early... really hate to wake up so early haiz.

Confused..???

Stupid demolition opp my flat woke me up earlier den expected. Went swimming with a stupid weather tat can make up its mind whether to rain or not to. Luckily it didnt and i manage to have my swim. Swam 45mins non-stop and laze by the pool for a while b4 going 2 bathe.

Had lunch at clementi hawker. Ate lor mee, cant remember when was the last time i eat it... After tat proceed to somewhere near havelock rd to c the flea market there. The flea market was way smaller den wat i expected, newspaper says 100 but i think theres less den 20 stores and the items were mostly 4 women. And i have totally no idea wat items are 4 guys and wat 4 gals when they are mixed together.

Wandered off to orchard by foot. Got lost along the way there. Wandered up a hill and saw a big temple. Started to drizzle, panicked a little. Luckily found some hint as to where to head to. Reach killney walked over to cine to get some tics for a show later in the evening.

wanted to do some shopping but cant figure out wat to buy. So confused today...

Function....

Have a special function at OCBC. A lot of "high class ppl" will be eating at my "working" place, abt 154 ppl 2 be exact. 1st time doing such a thing and its so fun. Yes tis is wat i like abt working in the kitchen. Such excitment is hard to find, if theres no function like this today will be like all other days, BORING!!!

Everything went thru smoothly and its actually not as hectic as wat i expect 2 be. Monday will be going to petals(near city hall area) for another event(a smaller 1). Gotta wake up at 5+...

Lost....

Watching lost the whole of the afternoon. Unfortunately i didnt manage to record all of the epi from axn marathon. This weather is killing me. Whenever i feel like going to swim it rains, and if i dun its all bright and sunny.... Gonna go work soon and another day has pass....

Looong day...

Had 2 "work" full day today from 9am-8pm -_-||. Glad tat im no working at asian today since theres a function going in the evening. Did a lot of canopy(finger food) 4 the function, but most went to waste... no ppl take them. After "wor", i accompanied my frens 2 play pool(i watch they play -_-||). At least today time fly by faster den usual even though i had to work whole day. More work is better den no work..

Woke up, whole body aching. Rush to "work" end up late coz i calculated the wrong timing to wake up. Dunno why do nothing still can ache all over. Den my fren say i sleep walk and do exercise while i was sleeping. How i with tat was true den dun have to exercise liao everyday go sleep den auto exercise.

Starting to hate some1 at "work", everything he say like got thorns. Sometimes every can imagine how i bash him up, like ally mcbeal and the monster-in-law show....

Aiyo 1st day working at OCBC and i dun really like the envoironment liao. The kitchen is divided into 2, western and asian. Im posted to asian kitchen, dun like it there every1 speaks cantonese and nobodies teaching anything. I just go there and clear unwanted plates and pass the food to the waitress. SUX !!! worse den rosette kitchen.

Off "work" at 2+, went sia huat to buy a testing needle so cheap 20cents nia. Walked in the rain aimlessly, swimming plan postpone due to stupid wet weather. Went eat rojak at honglim food complex, missed it so much. Browsed some books at popular den took 174 to work(real work got pay 1).

Reached work late... didnt expect 174 to take 2hrs to reach boonlay... had a nap on the bus, but kanna disturb by stupid kids whos talking so damn loudly abt dota and how "powerful" they are. Amazed at how billy's kitchen has changed. Cleaner den b4. Working here is way better den OCBC, at least i get hands on rather den standing doing nothing. Work till 10 and went home.

Cant stand it, got into a small tiff with a fren of mine.

Sin City

Watched sin city today. a black and while R21 movie. Got check IC so many times... Got a poor kid kanna blk by the staff there coz his not 21(poor thing). Not a bad movie a lot slashing and quite bloody(though in black and white).

After the show, wandered abt 4 a while saw a few baskering grp as usual theres the wonder kid tat plays the drum set. Frens headed home after a while and i wondered a while more. Wanted to shop at instant karma but no more discount... went 4skin designs not very nice. Headed to Phoon Huat to get some baking eq. and went to bugis village to shop. Again no target. Headed home for minority report.

1st time watching this show, seems good. Gonna have a lost marathon after the show taped from axn.

Sweat..!!?!

The train ride home was the hottest i have ever been on. So packed and crowded on the train most prob due 2 the stupid NDP preview thingy... Sweating thruout the journey. Overheard a very chim conversation among 3 ppl. Talking abt some energy sound blaa blaa so chim....

Finally the wait is over! Will be going to OCBC next week for "work". Heard the staff meal there is the best, cant wait (^-^).

On the train

Bored on the way home today, had nothing to do. No books 2 read since i finished it yesterday. Amazed at myself tat i can complete 2 books in 28 MTR rides. Harry potters coming out tomorrow, should be a lot of kiasu fanatics queueing up at the book stores now. Anyone willing to lend me after they finish ?_?.

Started looking ard and eavesdroping on ppls conversation. Not much gossip to listen to. Saw this uncle reading this chess magazine, didnt know such ppl exist -_-||. Got a shock while looking down, how big my tummy has grown... Maybe i should take extrim X. Tummy cha cha cha!!!

Tomorrows my "last day" at rosette, will be posted to OCBC for 2 weeks. A new envoironment for 2 weeks should be interesting. Hope not as boring as wat im going thru now...

blaa how did it happen? why did it happen? Tears almost drop when it happen. Was cutting the stupid onion when it happen. 1st time i exp such incident and i tot i was immune to it already >_<.

Saw this annoying obasan on MRT on way home. She stood beside me turning and whirling... her big bag keep rubbing me. Den she rubs her chest area for a while and repeat again.

Another gloomy day passed by. A swimming plan wash away by the rain. so bored at "work" nothing much to do. Hope for a better tomorrow.

11-7 lousiest day

Got of with a lousy start since after midnite. Was playing dota as usual, didnt expect a simple game to make me so piss of at some1s behaviour which to me reflect a lot. Wanted to sleep but couldnt, tossing and turning. Woke up took my time with thing only to be inform tat the time to meet was earlier den wat i was informed. Had to rush to "work". Waited and waited so long at the bus stop and at the mrt. Finally when i reach somerset rush all the way to school only to c all my frens still lazing at the staff room... All the rush for nothing...

Anyway i choose a ez appointment this week. Give myself less things to think abt also.

Gone..cake..sad

Woke up early in the morning to bake the cake for my mum. All the beating of eggs were so damn tiring. finished it in abt 1+hrs. Left the cake on the table to cool down and left the house to meet xiong and piao.

Reach cine to watch the F4. Still early so went taka to borrow some story book for my MRT ride to and fro "work". The show was actually wasnt tat boring as wat the papers reviewed. After the show went taka again to c c look look at the food fair. As i had to buy the whipping cream for the cake i headed to phoon huat at bugis area... unfortunately its close and i had to go to cold storage at bugis to look for it. Luckily i they sell them at the bugis area(went taka and couldnt find). Headed home after tat.

Sadly when i reach home, the cake has already been cut and eaten by my dad. All the plans tat i made gone into the drain. And the 1st remark from him was tat it didnt taste well... I tasted it and it tasted ok... wat a waste..

Bizarre

Haiz the timing for going home is always 10+ nowadays with the getting of pay from everyone.... Some weird thing happen while i was boarding the bus home. I apparently heard some1 calling my name, i turned and look ard but couldnt c any1 familiar... as the queue was long i keep looking back to c but still cant find any so weird....

PS: anyone with good books to lend me, preferably by Dan Browns hehe if all goes well i should be able to return the book in 20 mrt trips ^_^v

Finally read finish this book, after borrowing from kate for so long... Took me 20 MRT rides from lakeside to somerset and back. I was expecting murder and solving of the murder in the end it looks more like treasure hunting, but its still quite interesting or else i wont be reading it. Im still wondering if the things said in the book is real -_-|| anyone can enlighten me?

Frustration at work

Was ask to cut some potatoes to cube size and in the end was told off 4 cutting the wrong size... The 1st thing tat pop in my mind was to blame him, which is always the case whenever something bad happens. But after cooling down, i know its my fault for not confirming the size with him when in doubt. Got so frustrated at myself in the end.....

Funeral

On my way to "work", i happen to pass by this funeral tats been there for at least a week. Its the day where the body gets cremated and de ritual is going on. Curious me took at peek at the ritual and saw something quite diff. There were 2 big head dolls dancing at the ritual. 1st time i ever c big head dolls in funeral rituals so weird....

Irritating customers

Another day of "work" has ended. Today was extremely lobo, only got 3 tables of orders but in the end i went home later den some other bz days. All bcoz of idiotic customers tat like to take their times to eat their food. As the restaurant is serving in a fine dining way, food has to be send out 1 by 1 accordingly. By the time i serve the stupid main course, its already pass 10....... end up leaving "work" at 10.40pm reaching home at 11.51pm zzzzzzz wat a waste of precious gaming time.

Off day !!

Yeah today is my off day. Went to catch war of the worlds at cine. Quite cheap for a weekend, M1 customers get 50% off 2nd tics. The wasnt tat bad quite quite exciting at certain point of the shows. Had dinner and went home after tat, was suppose to meet up the alpha guys but den no ppl call so just take it tat they cancelled the farewell party..

Been a while since i last met them(after i quit my NTU job). Now most of them are doing attachments. Headed home after tat. At least my daily routine is a bit diff today.
