Nitemare: week 1 day 4

Its a routine thing now... everyday same thing just like office work.
Ok went school luckily the chef U is still inside my frens locker when i reach school. burnt my index finger while doing cleaning today.... stupid oven rack %&**#^*^@% ..... Finally manage to reach home earlier, off "work" at 9.30 reach home at 1030 hurray!!

Nitemare: week 1 day 3

Same as usual..... Got used to the kitchen already, at least not like wat i was feeling when i 1st step in(huh? wats this.. huh? wats tat..). Self oriented myself to the things inside the big walk in freezer cum chiller and the dry storeroom. If the teacher and discipline things are not there to restrict me, i think it can be my kitchen hehe....

Left "work" in a rush today, actually is almost everynite i leave in a rush to go home early... Accidentally left my chef U at "work" Luckily its meant to be washed and my fren kept it in his locker for me which is a good and a bad thing... the locker is useless. But at least i know tat theres some % chance tat i can get it back...

Nitemare: week 1 day 2

Today was like yesterday only theres a break in...
Yes ppl break into those sloopy lockers in the lousy looker room tats always open(no door). Lucky for me to not bring anything valuable to "work". Hope tomorrow is another better day..

Nitemare: week 1 day 1

1st day of nitemare bgins 2day. Met frens at somerset at 1.15. Lucky arrive early as the report time was at 1.30 instead of the original 2. Had a very very long briefing from 1.30-4++. The chef was talking and talking so long-winded.

Finally at 4+ step into the kitchen and was appointed our own post. My fren and i volunteered to be the griller(only for this week). The kitchen was so unorganize, compared to working at billy's. Maybe due to the overflow of ppl and the big kitchen. And theres really so little customer, which is good. Hope this goes on everyday.

Goodbye billy's hello rosette

Its sunday, my last working day at billy bombers(for 3 weeks wont be working). So much work to do. All the things seems to be emptied by the saturday nite crowd. And orders to handles.... bz bz bz. The nite crowd was also a killer. Ppl pop in eat and leave so quickly horrible. Really a grand finale for me the crowd only clear at abt 8+.

After work went str8 home to do my prep stuff for tomorrow's 1st day of "work". No idea wat to bring. Hope it would be entertaining and fun and can go home early...

Fast and Slow

Watched initial D. The show wasnt really good just tat the cast is good. Heard my fren say tat the story deviated a lot from the original story and it seems to be a combination of 3 stages of it. The races was quite fun and fast.

After the show had my dinner, bought some flour and ingredients for the cake im preparing to make for my mum. Make my way home via MRT.

The MRT ride was really a drag. I had to wait for dunno how long for the train at raffles place. The 1st train which arrive was so full and i cant board it. The 2nd which was dunno how long later was also damn full so i have to squeeze into it. Dunno why isit so pack and waiting time so long....

Blues

Having the blues today. Woke up drag myself all the way to work and work like a zombie. The blues cleared off after a good 1/2hr nap at abt 5.30pm. Back home bath relax eat some sinful ice-cream, check on tickets on initial D for tom. Tomorrow will be the last saturday for me to go out with my frens since my new school schedule requires me to "work" on saturdays as well(BORING!!!).

For the next 3 weeks i will only be available on sundays since i will be "working" on mon-sat at 2pm-10pm+ at rosette restaurant owned by shatec for training. I pay the school to work for them for free zzzz.

Walk: Outram - Marina

Mums bday coming. In out family, we seldom celebrate bdays. So this year with a new member in my family(my darling oven), i decide to bake a bday cake for her. But 1st i need to get another new member in the kitchen, the weighing machine. Its the next most important eq. tat is required for baking a cake.

Went down to outram area with alvin to get my weighing machine. Theres this Sia Huat Pte Ltd which whole sells kitchen thingys, and i got 20% discount for being a shatec student.

Before going there went to walk abt at ppl park complex. Been a while since i last step there. The stores changed lot, got a few new stalls there. Bought a winter melon biscuit, sweet and warm. Stroll over across the bridge towards sia huat, on the way saw this lady doing pictured wordings. Took a while to understand some of the words shes doing but so nice and colorful.

Went over to get my weighing machine at sia huat, bad thing is i cant choose the color as its all boxed up, bcom something like tikum tikum wat box u get the color is fixed. I got a bright orange 1.... ok la have to like it no matter wat color it is, as long as it dun spoil so soon...

Walked to maxwell to get a drink and some cheap hum chin peng(7=$1). Noticed tat the mr.bean logo has changed into something more cuter and better. Was paying money when the auntie there warn me abt not dropping my coins into the drain below. According to her, a lot customers drop their coins in and when the cleaner at nite clear the drain, he usually will go home with 2 handful of coins(can get rich if i clear the drain everyday at nite)...

Walk a bit c c look look, ate a lot of stuff including turtle soup -.-||. had la mian for dinner and went home after.

Boring schedule

Woke up went work come home surf net play game. Todays activity. No planning required.

Initial D gala premier

Went down orchard today 4 some star gazing. most of the cast of initial D is down at Lido for the gala premier of initial D. Its i think a once in a life time thingy to c jay chou, edison chen, shawn yue, kenny bee and huang chew sheng, after all they dun live in singapore...

As expected the crowd is mostly teenagers some even arrive at 6am just to get a nice spot to c their idol close up. Theres even police there to ensure tat the pathway to the traffic light is not blk(most prob some1 complain tat the fans are blking their way, typical sgian)

Arrived at abt 5+ waited(got the wrong time tot they coming at 6) waited for abt 2hrs and finally the stars appear 1 by 1. The most dramatic moment during the wait should be when one of the female fan fainted(as usual always got such things happen 1), lucky the police was kind enough to run to the medical ppl nearby for assitance.

The whole event finished at abt 8+ went for NYDC for dinner. 1st time eating at NYDC at some roast chicken baked with pochinini and cheese, and a ice cream mudpie(wasnt wat i was expecting tot it was something tats really a pie when i ordered) and a nice lemonade with lemon sherbet. So filling, walk to somerset and headed home.

Not sure if any of u guys notice, if u ever chance upon the fantastic 4 individual poster take a closer look at human torch and mr. fantastic. The head of the pic is wrong if u look closely, human torch suppose to be the younger 1 and not so old. Think they edited the wrong head...

Initial D song = 飄
If u hear this song closely at the chorus part, to me it resembles a classic chinese song. Not sure if u guys know this song call 鳳楊花鼓. The 1 where 左手鑼右手鼓 one. The initial d chorus 的飄的飄的怡的飄 theres an identical part in the 鳳楊花鼓.

Holiday = Sunday everyday

Started work today after a 2 weeks break. Today is my 1st day of my 1 week school holiday and it feels like my usual working sunday zzz. Wake work sleep(game in middle of work and sleep).

Happy Birthday..!!

Too free got nothing better to do today. At least i dun have to work, not like all other sundays. Waiting for 9pm to watch iron ladies, didnt get a chance to watch it on big screen so had to catch it on TV.

Took away my Darling's 1st time

stayed at home all afternoon(no ppl call me out ...), too free so decided to play with my darling for a while. So much preparation to make just to have some fun. All the beating and heating. Finally after an hour of fun, the egg tarts are ready. 1st time using my darling after buying it. Next up maybe i should try baking a cake.

went for batman begin in the evening/nite. Nothing much like all superhero movie this is an intro of a new remake of batman. Not much action focussing more on the story line for now.

Rotting

Stayed at home all day playing dota today, wanted to go out but no place to go. Nothing much happen, should have baked some egg tarts...

Sentosa

Hmm been a while since i last step into sentosa. Went there with my sha mates. Went to this padawan/palawan beach played some frisbee and balls. Got some tan which i really dun wish to have since im already tanned. Run and run. Swim and swim. Bath and bath. Take bus go home....

Fast day. Ran by so quickly and i got a sunburn on my shoulder...

yeah 1 more paper and the torture will be over....

Went jogging today. I have been living in jurong for so long and i didnt know that chinese garden is free entree... I have only went there once dunno how many years ago when there was lantern festival(need to pay). Other den tat i didnt dare to step in as stingy me didnt wan to pay for going in to c grass...

Anyway jogged ard inside so peaceful and windy today. Got a bit lost when i stray into the now renovating japanese garden and had to climb a broken fence out(happen to c 1 uncle climb den i join in, or else had to run all the way back very shack liao).

Revised a little and now im going to play the new gunbound...

Study

Tomorrow is my final exam for this sem. Studied in the morning and afternoon. So played 2 games of dota and went back to revise. Wanted to play again but my frenz cant be contacted, felt so frustrated so off my hp and decide to be childish and ignore every1. Watch anime the rest of the afternoon, as msn was in busy mode and hp was off didnt know got ppl msn and sms me till i finished the anime. Exam must be stressing me out........

KL Trip: Ride back

Finally its time to come home, back to singapore. Driven to KL bus terminal where all the coach gathers. As usual the traffic was horrible, jams and jams and more jams...

Got ourselves some tickets back to singapore at how much i dun really remember... abt rm45 i guess. Suppose to come at 3. waited and waited didnt come, told the coach got jam should arrive at 3.30. waited and waited nvr come again, ask again due to traffic the coach should arrive soon. Finally at 4.30 it arrive and we all boarded. Stuck in the stupid jam 4 a while and finally left kl and headed home.

KL bus terminal is always so jam. Even my msians frens head to go there...

KL Trip: Wedding ceremony

Not sure why, the wedding ceremony is actually on a diff day. Morning went over with them to fetch the bride. Gone thru almost the whole ceremony. Drove all the way to the brides home(slept the whole journey :P) Reach there and had to go thru the usual stages.

Round 1: Metal gate.
Boss: Sisters of the bride.
Walkthru guide: Do what the sisters of the guide tell us to do.... Groom ask to eat 3 raw eggs, drink black vinegar and eat chilli padi.

Round 2: Brides door.
Boss: The sisters again.
Walkthru guide: Bribing is always the best option. Best bring some1 tat has a high lv bargaining skill to reduce the bribe.


After fetching the bride we drove to the temple for blessings and headed back to the grooms house. Theres this ritual where before arriving the house, the cars should sound their horns(not sure y). My frens and i had to leave as we had to prepare our journey back home.

KL Trip: Saturday

Woke up dunno what time and when for brunch. Theres a lousy shopping centre situated below the hotel. Most of the shops wont even open when we arrive. Ate western food at this "food court". Ultimate regret... waited so long for my food and the chicken chop i ordered tasted horrible. Its already burnt and the lamer still dare to serve it. Went walk ard the shopping centre not much shops to shop also. Waited in the hotel for my msian frens to tell us the schedule of the day. Waited and waited .... fell asleep while waiting -_-||

When i woke up(not sure wats the time also..), got a call to get ready ourself for the dinner -_-||. Waited and waited finally some1 picked us up and we went to KL for the wedding dinner. Well like all wedding dinner, it always starts late... Anyway the dinner was enjoyable with all the frens ard and chatting and catching up with some of the other msia frens who just arrive. The whole thing ended at 11+. Packed up everything help clear some of the left over drinks and liquor back to the grooms house. Chit chat a while again. Went back to hotel after a while bathe and sleep..

KL Trip: 1st nite

Its all abt the yummy food i ate in KL and so miss them now.

After reaching KL, my fren who picked me up send me to sunway where i meet my sg and msia frens. They already finished their dinner cum supper.... I had to order some food since i miss my lunch and dinner due to the stupid bus. Order this nice dish which is not sold in sg called moon light river(direct translation from chinese). Very nice name for a horfun tat resembles char kueh tiao but is salty and top with a raw eye yolk, miss it so much since the last KL trip i went. May sound disgusting but its damn nice. After eating that we had a small chatting and catching up session.

After a few hrs or so(i guess), we went for A&W. I ordered a waffle with strawberry sauce and ice-cream. Chit chat again and had to leave as it was late and the groom and bride need to prepare for next days preparation. Went to the hotel which im staying. The room was great big and spacious. 2 big rooms for 5 ppl, 2 double bed and 1 single bed cost SGD$70 each for 3days 2 nites(quite ex -_-||). Another chit chat session while i fall asleep in my cosy bed.

KL trip - longest ride

went kl via bus from jb at larkin bus terminal. Took mrt transfer to 170 which reach larkin at abt 105. Change money there and felt a little worried that there might not be any tickets to KL as its actually a msia holiday on sat. Ask 2 places and they were fully booked(really panick liao). At this pt some1 approach me asking if i were going KL and they have bus ready at 1.30 i hastily said yes and paid rm35. Waited a while on the bus b4 it starts off.

1.05pm board bus waited on bus

1.26pm bus starts

2.51pm reach resting pt had some pan cakes and corns. Waited and waited, but the bus didnt move and the air-con seems to have malfunction. Every1 alight after being notify tat the bus is dead. Waited a while and soem engineers from the company came to take a look. The bus is certified dead... Every1 was so worried as we have been waiting for so long and the supposed backup bus hasnt arrive. The worse thing was the driver and person in charge doesnt seem to show and concern abt it. Still can sit there and chit chat drink coffee. Really feel like punching him after 2+hrs.

5.49pm finally the backup bus arrive. To my horrid!!! no air-con... its so low tat when the bus starts moving nothing can be felt. Really have the urge to change into my sleeping attire which i prepared. The bus left but den stop at the nearby patrol kiosk to refill water...

5.55pm finally the stupid journey has began.

8.07pm had a small toilet break/

8.15pm journey resumed

abt9pm finally i reach KL but the traffic was so messy jams jams and more jams. Had to alight early at hang tuah to take a train to plaza rayat to meet my fren whos actually been waiting since 8.

This is the 1st time i go KL in 8hrs... horrible!! Maybe should try taking plane in the future ...

My Bf is Type B

Saw this korean movie today. So hilarious and touching. Amazingly some parts of the male lead whos acting a type B guy seems like wat i do. Like the sleeping posture(freakily similar). Overall this movie i think is great and this english song is nice too.

Ermmm chocolate ...

Yeah today is the day tat i made my 1st ever mud pie. its the trial run of my pastry project and the outcome was ok. Its so thick and full of great chocolatey taste(think i heard this from some comercial). Though the crust wasnt very satisfactory the overall rating for the pie was still ok. I think 1 piece of the pie sure will make me damn heaty de....
