RAINy day

Rain rain rain stupid rain ruin my plan for today. WAS suppose to go swimming in the morning BUT it RAIN. WAS suppose to go queensway after swimming but RAIN so cancel also. In the end went str8 to orchard.

1pm reach orchard proceed to far east. Check up with hair dresser abt the dye(suppose to be like that) went to get 2 rubber arm bands white(courage) and black(live bitter) quite suit their colors 1 optimistic 1 pessimistic. Had lunch as well wan ton noodles at lv5 nice....

2+pm jalan down to paragon.. open so long liao nvr really walk inside b4 so go in and walk walk c c look look maybe can find a shirt for frens wedding. Luckily didnt find any shirts(save money). Saw this store i think call Motion Sports selling anything related to motion sports(bird talk)... Saw a few K2 blades wa damn ex $200-400+++(need collect a lot money).

230+pm proceed to heeren. Window shop until i reach my fav t-shirt stall fourskin...temptation so strong nearly buy a tshirt... until i saw the heeren card thingy. Pause the sales lady ran down to get the card which cost $20. Got a goody bag worth more den the card(really no joke the nivea products, the vouchers... etc)... ran back upstairs to tell the lady that i not buying liao(coz got some birthday discount can get 20% hahahaha) so paiseh she pack nice nice liao...

3+++pm almost step out of heeren but den start RAINing went back to hmv listen songs. Journey to taka postponed.

345pm RAIN finially stop proceed to taka to check out oven pricing. Visit my mum at work and bid goodbye since shes bz. SO many diff brands of oven.... the price also varies a lot $100-$400++ luckily i met a poly fren whos sort of a sales person that moves abt for the brand of appliance. Got some advise trade hp numbers and say goodbye to him.

4+pm Left safe and proceed to library@orchard. Stop by lego(yes the building blk toy) shop to check out my fav toy Bionicles(in case u dunno this the website http://www.lego.com/eng/bionicle/default.asp) saw this 3 damn chio bionicles can combine de so power 8755 8761(price $39 so ex) and another 1 dun remember liao. Went to library search for some comics.

445pm went kino and check out on some jap comic and read some mags. Amazingly time fly by very fast.

5pm went down to cold storage to get a drink(cheap and nice oolong cha). Went and check the pricing of the nivea products in goodie bag also hehe(really worth abt 20 lor). Went down to meet Sha mate after that.

5++pm Met up my sha mates at cineleisure and proceed for fish & co. Had the usual coriander dori(yeah the 4getful fish in nemo Yummy!!!).

7+pm stop by at heeren again but this time saw some weird thing. A guy dress up like sadako was walking abt near the exit. So funny, scaring the passerbys. Apparently his also giving some thing to anyone that went up and say some special words(which i duno), he left the exit bring a crowd behind him(i think all wan get the free thing). Had water at coffee bean(save money). Chit chat for quite some time. There was a launching at paragon so many gorgeous ppl to oogle lol(so tall).

930pm some sha mates had to leave so we split up. A sha mate suggest going to border to browse some mag so we went there b4 going home. Read up some info on BKK(dunno why so hot recently a lot ppl going).

10+pm Board train home.

11+pm Updating blog. Gone to bathe after updating blog(which is now).

MSN crashed !!

Msn crashed.... This seems to be more irritating then having a earthquake in the middle of the nite especially when ur chatting with frens. Im a techno freak ahhh wat will happen if msn doesnt get fix... i dunno use yahoo messenger/icq .... argh going to sleep hope for a better tomorrow(msn fixed).

Stars and Surprises

Aries: You're so darned charming now, you can hardly believe it yourself. So imagine how ur lucky companion is feeling and yes, that goes for anyone who happen to be working with you too.

Ya right im so charming... dun even have a companion, my work colleagues dun feel any diff. Sometimes horoscope can be such a lier. But i dun mind being charming hehe(self consolation).

Got a surprise today. Received my check at work. The amt was not wat i expected. Check the pay slip, got a $50 deduction for uniform and weirdly its so little for 77.5 hrs of hard work. Check again and guess what my pay per hour is 4.5 instead of 5(wat a surprise). Work for almost 3mths now den discover(blur)... Going to confront my manager abt this tomorrow via phone.

Chance upon the Tong Hua MV again today. 2nd time im watching it and its still so touching. The song and the mv combo up really can make me teary in my eye. Hope can c the MV on TV again.

1st Upgrade complete ...

Been very very free since my holiday started. Instead of wasting my time doing nothing in front of my computer, i made up my mind to modify my blog a bit. Added 2 new feature in my blog, the music and my fav links.

The music was the hardest to implement. Took me abt 3 days to figure out how to add it in. Next was the font and the weird spacing that occured after i put in the music title. Did so many test and publishing for my blog. Finally after so many days of struggle(with the help of some website), i manage to solve everything and its look great now(nothing changed only added 2 new thing and remove the blogspot thing).

2nd day of work since my long break and i have to work with a very naggy and gan jiong lady... Hope not to work with her again...

Criticism and Jokes

I was expecting a lot comments and criticism on my hair but apparently there was none(thats wat i tot). Apparently some fren of mine made some joke abt it with another fren, which i think is quite crude. I can take any thing if its said in front of me but talking bad things about me behind my back and making a joke out of it is something that pisses me off. Though i do say things behind ppl but its mostly out of concern.

My dressing is consider flowery to some ppl .... in case u dunno this flowers are design. Rather den wearing something thats dull everyday and everynite i rather have some designs on them. Just becoz i wear them and u dun doesnt mean its weird. My new hair, dunno watever stupid joke made out of it which i dun care, i still like it.

PS: Do look at urself before making any critisism.

Stars and Candles

Aries: U have been working overtime to be seen more charismatic. The result: Having more fun.
Saw this on Straits Times today. Seems to be quite accurate for me hehehe. Got new haircut became more "hiao" for maybe a few days.

Had a mahjong game today. Started off very badly(chips only exit my drawer) but luckily ended with more chips den i started. Went for ear candling after that. The ambience of the place was quite relaxing even though its located in some supposed residential area. The whole candling is about 30mins. Didnt really felt anything special after the candling but was a nice experience.

The process of candling ear(est 30mins):
1 Lady rub mint on hand and got us to breathe in and out.(got a strange tingling feeling during this process)
2 Ly on 1 side poke ear with the candle and massage face and head.(felt slight pain for my rite ear when poked)
3 Lady clean ear with some cooling solution.
4 Repeat 2-3 for another ear.
5 Lady showed us the dirt sucked from ear.

juz another saturday...

Was suppose to met up with frens for movie at 230 to catch for a movie at 245. Something cock up along the way and we end up watching a later show. There was a little dispute during the process, but everything ended peacefully.

Watched the preview of House of Fury at suntec. Its about the relationship of brother,sister and father. Both bro n sis boycott their father bcoz they think his always lying although his trying very hard to cheer everyone up and everything he speak was actually the truth. Its also abt fighting n fighting n more fighting. The show was neither boring nor exciting.

Had dinner and came home after that.

Excursion: Singapore ZOOlogical Garden

hehe went ZOO today. Last time i actually step into it was like primary school(i think most ppl stop going after PRI).

Suppost to meet up kate n yb at 9am this morning but due to some misunderstanding n calculations i end up reaching very early(1hr early). The wait was horrible walk up and down, to and fro, the whole LOT1(no shop open yet...), MRT station and Bus interchange(heng got my MP3 player to entertain me). After meeting kate n YB, we took the bus 927 to zoo. The journey was amazingly short(didnt expect zoo to be so close to CCK). J & J were late so we moved on while they join us later. Coincidentally met up with another of our classmate in the zoo(go zoo also can meet old school mate...). The whole excursion took us the whole day(unexpected) and everyone was shacked out.

Zoo is so old liao... a lot animals seems to be missing. Eg: giraffe, tasmanian devil, panda(heard go back hometown China liao)...etc. The animals are also very little compared to my last visit(PRI school). Dun think will be going to zoo within the next few years.

After having dinner(ba kut teh) at Eunos, went down to raffles place to meet up with Andy(who got lost walking on his way to meet us...) for some kopi session. The original plan was to look for a cafe which have board games for us to laze and play while chat. Unfortunately due to the restructuring of clark quay most of the old shops are close and we got absolutely no clue where is that shop. Finally we settled down at the TCC, the sofa looks so comfy(legs were giving way liao). Play some card game(havnt pay back yet) and number games. The whole kopi session ended at 130. Enjoyed my excursion and kopi session. Now for some rest....

ITS OVER !!

Yup !! its finally over... The exams over ...
Todays last paper was a breeze. 5 mins and off to swimming. Got to test out my new goggle, which is so confortable and cool looking. Met WY for lunch at BK(2nd time this week visiting BK for student meal... revenge for the humiliation done to me!!!) and jalan jalan with him at westmall b4 going home.

Got my early birthday present from a group of my frenz. A haircut at far east. Quite paiseh for the treat as i havnt met up with them for a long time, touched that they remember my birthday. But then they dump me there as the thing took 2hrs(cut and dye)... really thankful for the haircut though.

Met up with another group of broz at jurong for dinner(which i was late due to the haircut). Damn paiseh again as i was the organizer... Had dinner at kopi tiam and chatted to macs. Got to know some new frenz as well.

Today was quite enjoyable. Exam over, catch up with frenz and got a new funky hairdo hehehe. Hope tomorrows Zoo trip will be fun too.

AAAARRRGGGHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!
Todays paper was H-A-R-D!! Took me an hour to finish the whole thing with so much doubts on so many answers(horrible!!). Didnt expect this paper to be so damn hard... Maybe i was over confident after all the ez papers, that i took for the pass few days. I should be able to pass(hopefully), with the help of my progress test. Really do not wish to pay $75 for retest.

Had to stay back for another test today. Quite a stupid test compared to this mornings nitemare. Have to travel all the way to some building between bishan and AMK(so far). The paper was so stupid it took 5mins to complete most of the time was waiting.

Wasnt feeling well after that so had a short nap. Hopefully tomorrow's paper would be a breeze.

2 down 2 to go ....

Todays paper is still alrite... (i think) finished it in 15mins but the confident level wasnt as high as yesterdays paper. But thats what u get when u didnt really study much. Paying attention during class does pay off, since im able to recap what the teacher said...(phew)

Anyway decide to go Orchard library to study my next paper, cant study at home with all the distraction(my precious computer, my bed and the live chinese opera station nearby). Not sure if im suay or what but the library was so pack even on normal weekday like today, luckily manage to find 1 cozy corner for my revision which took i think less den 30mins(aiks).

After that went to browse some books at kino and hunt for my goggles. The current pair of goggles that im holding has degree, which is so many years ago(dun wan to go blind wearing that goggles everytime i swim). Saw this damn chio goggles at arena and it was love at 1st sight(hehe exagerating). The price was even more chio $42 after discount. Anyway im not wasting my money since im addicted to swimming. Gonna make full use of it either tomorrow or thursday!!!

As there was still some time before meeting my frenz for movies, decide to do window shopping. Its amazing how much a T-shirt cost nowadays $20++,c liao damn heartache(i forbid myself from buying clothings). Saw something damn irritated also. My fav t-shirt label fourskin's design got copied by freshbox. Damn cheapskate label stole other peoples design and sold as their own(at a lower price somemore). Condemn that label from now on.

Met my frenz for movies. A lousy movie. Its like watching Ken(from the barbie doll series) moving about(creepy). The plot was dumb not funny and defintely a waste of my time and money(from my pt of view). Cant really blame anyone but myself i jioed the outing.

PS: the dreaded movie is called the son of the mask ....

todays exam as so ez i finish in 30mins(should be earlier)..... Luckily didnt study much for this subject and the T*Ps that was given were damn useful hehe(yeah free points). My school follows the ang mor system, uses this thing call the cumulative grade points(GPA) as long as i can get more den 2pts i pass.

Went swimming again today again. Went at a very bad timing though. They closed half the pool for the SASA ppl... and i have to squeeze with so many ppl. Yes theres a lot of ppl even though the holiday was over and everyones working... Tried to learn butterfly stroke but fail terribly on trying(damn paiseh cant fly but made a lot of splashes... very big splashes)... Went back home for studies(watched TV and surfed net more) after that.

PS: do not drink too much water b4 going swimming, almost puke a few times drank too much soyabean liao....

Roaming Diary I

Today was suppose to study my exams at home. Unfortunately there was too much rukus and i was forced to leave(great excuse hehe).

Things i did today:
-swimming
-went beach road to jalan jalan
-walk to bugis
-visited malay heritage centre(MHC)
-visited the arcade
-back home....

Place i studied:
-Bus & Train
-Mr.Bean on way to MHC
-a black tall building opp bugis

Not a bad study trip today. Didnt know there was a MHC.

PS: if u wish to visit MHC just need to pay $2 to go in. But the big garden outside(free) so serene felt like studying there but paiseh to stay too long got tourist around ... The black building also very nice and windy not sure whats it for.

WEST : EAST : NORTH

Today was quite a long day for me. Woke up at 8+ for(dunno y...). Sat infront of Tv and watched some cooking shows on my fav channel discovery travel and living(cable chn16). Bum around till 11+ and went to meet my frenz for adidas fair.

The adidas fair is at expo, which is so far away from me. Only been there twice including this time. The crowd for the adidas fair was so big. We even need to deposit bag and report ourselves if we carry any adidas items(tight security). Unfortunately there wasnt much things left inside, most of the good stuffs are gone on the 1st day(haiz wasted a trip).

After that we went to orchard to catch a jap movie called swing girls. There was still plenty of time to spare so we decide to go walk about at orchard. Went to taka saw this event organized by sportskaki featuring all the sports stuff. Saw a rollerblading booth which is offering lessons. Was interested but the location was mostly in the east(great dissapointment). Went back to cineleisure for the show after that.

Swing girls is actually quite a funny movie(at least i laugh a lot of times). Its about how a bunch of school gals took up music. To me its worth the $8.50 rather then watching the son of the mask. The jazz music in the movie is also very nice.

After the show went HMV to check out some songs and albums(scouting for songs so that i can xxx). Went home after that......

Haiz tomorrow is study day. Need to revise for the exam on monday. SO BORING!!! Hope this torturing exam will end quick.

Swimming

IM addicted to swimming. Been swimming almost every alternate days after i bought my trunks. Its so enjoying and relaxing !!!!! Got to tan myself also hehe.

Unfortunately its school holiday now and kids are invading the pool, disturbing my peace and tranquility. Cant even have a nice decent swim with all those pesky kids in the pool .... haiz. Hopefully the pool will be cleared after the holidays are over.

The EX day

Today start of damn badly. Didnt get enough sleep, no idea why i keep waking up. Then had to take this EXtremely slow bus(stupid driver drove slowly so that he wont reach interchange too early) to school.Took my practical EXam and yes i passed. Amazingly most of the class pass this time round. Made me wonder if that B**tard teacher failed the class(at least not me) on purpose that time.

Decide to do some EXercise since im too free and lazy to study for EXams. So decide to jog at the jogging and cycling track. This track is a very long stretch of road dedicated for people to cycle or jog beside the lake(canal). Tried to jog to the birdpark(2nd attempt) and failed terribly due to the strong pungent smell of chemical thats always on that stretch of path(wonders why the stupid ppl build that path) . Jogged at least 45mins this time round.

Argh which reminds me, the countdown of IPPT deadline can start liao....

Sing Sang Sung

Just celebrated YY's birthday at KTV. Been a while since i last step in there, enjoyed myself. Most of the people came in late, which means QF and me get to sing and sing yeah!!! This is 1 occasion where being late is actually acceptable hehehe.

Went to Lau Pa Sat for supper after that, this place is one of my condemned place. The things are so ex and the variety for supper is horrible. One more irritating thing to add would be those store vendors. Always pulling customer.

After eating my usual spicy green noodle, which got spicier since the last time i visited, and desert we bid farewell and went home. So full now which is why im sitting here writting this blog to give myself some extra time to digest of all those food before getting to bed.

3 course failure dish ...

Had my trial pratical exam today. Required to do 3 course. Beef consomme, pilaf rice and chicken piccata with tomato sauce. Overall ratings for myself:

Beef Consomme: Nice soup but color not approved needs to be darkened.
Pilaf Rice: Needs more chicken powder and a tinch more water but overall shouldnt be a problem.
Chicken Piccata: The chicken taste blend the egg cheese platter was too thick and the outcome was horrible.
Tomato Sauce: Too thick as usual.

Really need to do some adjustment to my cooking. The main dish and the sauce was really damn disappointing even for myself. Wonder if i set my own standards too high or is the exam stressing me out(which i doubt so). The marker for my coming exam happens to be the same b**tard that marked my test. His comments was so insulting, really hope i can prove him wrong and make him eat back his words !!

Desperate me ....

After watching the desperate housewifes for so many week, it suddenly hit me that Bree's character is some how similar to mine. Bree is the housewife thats cant stand anything thats not perfect. Minor things like cleaniness seems to make me feel uneasy when they are not the way i expect them to be. Even sometimes the character of the some people that i hang around with do irritate me. Hopefully i wont become what Bree became, so plastic and perfect. Really hope i can change my thinking....
